At DESK.STUDIO the desk is the inspiration behind a movement that uses design as a catalyst for building a better education system. This space is dedicated to empowering educators, administrators, students, and community leaders to rethink the role design plays in improving the educational experience.

Management is a key component to successful school learning. Policies and procedures are at the foundation of the systems we interact with every day. The mission is to answer one question “How can design optimize learning space to promote positive interactions within schools?” Every learning and instructional material is treated like a design element with a distinct purpose. The ultimate goal is to set a new standard for management and accountability by focusing on intentionality.

With ideation and creation, planning can be a process that brings joy and sparks inspiration. Each year a problem of practice will be represented by a Project Portfolio consisting of a series of process projects. Each project serves as a functional piece of work used to build a learning environment that meets standards while catering to individual teaching style.
